In our series of artists interviews for Bus Projects titled ‘Taking Care’, we discuss and explore hidden narratives surrounding materials and objects within contemporary art practices. Each episode focuses on unpacking the materiality, contexts and histories around a specific object, material type or artwork in dialogue with the artist, to propose its potential trajectories into the future.

The Preserve Your Story workshop series aims to help participants build skills in simple conservation that they can then use on objects at home. In this workshop, professional conservators demonstrate basic approaches to care for a range of commonly held collection types, followed by a Q&A session.
