A colourful glazed ceramic vessel with a central totem by Deborah Halpern, a renowned Melbourne artist known for many civic outdoor sculptures. The central totem had been detached and repaired multiple times in the past, and had suffered extensive loss of decorative glaze and parts of the ceramic body. To reinstate the visual cohesion of the artwork, we:

• re-adhered the detached part with specially formulated conservation-grade adhesives

• infilled losses to the ceramic body

• reinstated the lost glazing and decoration
